Job summary

DuBois & King, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer and Project Manager for our Bangor, ME office. With 5+ years of experience, you will lead a team within the Public Works Division and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with the regional director.

You will manage civil projects emphasizing municipal and industrial water and wastewater, develop client relationships, and oversee design through construction. A PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience leading teams and managing projects.
• Experience with environmental permitting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and project management support to the Regional Director.
• Provide management and technical development of civil projects with emphasis on water and wastewater.
• Develop business and build client relationships.
• Lead project teams in design and in construction through completion.
• Oversee work quality, client coordination, and daily project operations.
• Prepare regulatory permit applications for a wide range of projects.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on project assignments.
• Share accountability with team members within the division.
