Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc., in Lake Mary, Florida, seeks a Senior Engineer, Performance to evaluate and improve thermal performance of gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and CC power plants, including hydrogen production facilities. Role requires technical leadership and experience with performance testing and proposal management.

The successful candidate will lead and mentor engineers, develop rigorous performance estimates, and support business development from feasibility studies

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, fluids, thermal, or closely related engineering discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with gas/steam turbine and power plant performance modeling.
• Experience withThermoflow, GateCycle or Ebsilon for performance modeling and emissions analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to peers and less-experienced engineers.
• Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge and practical experience.
• Prepare thermal performance and emissions estimates using engineering tools and software.
• Develop equipment-level performance estimates for gas turbines, HRSGs, and steam turbines.
• Develop power train and CC plant performance estimates and model hydrogen production facility performance.
• Coordinate preparation of proposal performance data and support technical bid clarifications.
