Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida, is seeking a Senior Engineer, Performance to lead thermal performance work on gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and CC plants. You will model performance, emissions, and hydrogen facilities, guiding engineers and supporting technical proposals.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in power-plant performance modeling, strong tool proficiency (Thermoflow, GateCycle, Ebsilon), and excellent communication in English. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, fluids, thermal or closely related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in combined-cycle performance modeling.
• Knowledge of simple and combined-cycle performance and emissions.
• Familiarity with ASME PTC 22/46/6/4.4/19 and pollutant emissions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to peers and junior engineers.
• Develop thermal performance and emissions estimates using engineering tools.
• Model GT/HRSG/ST and CC plant performance; hydrogen facilities.
• Prepare customer-facing technical documents for proposals.
• Support commercial teams and contribute to proposal content.
