Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Four years of experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Texas Professional Engineer license required; other state license acceptable with Texas license within six months.
• For Fire Protection Division only, a Licensed Professional Engineer in Fire Protection is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and construction contracts for paving, aviation, facilities, and other infrastructure projects.
• Oversee planning, design, bid, cost estimation, and construction compliance for capital improvements.
• Collaborate with consultants, inspectors, contractors, and agencies to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to less experienced engineers and project coordinators.
