Job summary

Reid Middleton, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Engineer PE (Civil) to join our San Diego team. You will lead design on road and site development projects, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to deliver safe, efficient infrastructure.

The role requires CA PE licensure, a BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred), and 10+ years in design and project management. Local travel may be required; this is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed Civil Professional Engineer in the State of California.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and stormwater report preparation.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for roads and site development projects.
• Manage projects and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Visit project sites in person as required; overnight travel may be required.

Requirements

• Experienced Professional Engineer with a preferred minimum of 10 years of experience in design and project management with projects focused on roads and site development, grading, pavement, stormwater, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems.
• Experience with federal/DoD projects and public projects in CA is preferred.
• Licensing as a Civil Professional Engineer in the State of California.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and stormwater report preparation.
• Visit project sites in person as required – overnight travel may be required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• This is not a remote position

Pay Range

$130,000 – $160,000 annually Depending on experience
