Job summary

RSI is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the Y-12 PMO in Oak Ridge, TN. You will monitor and assess technical quality, progress, and execution of major capital projects, including the Lithium Processing Facility.

You will provide independent engineering oversight throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 10+ years on large capital projects, 5+ years in nuclear or regulated facilities, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
10+ years of engineering experience on large construction or capital projects (> $10M).
5+ years in nuclear/regulated facilities.
Strong oral/written communication, able to brief senior management.

Responsibilities

Provide independent engineering oversight across planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
Participate in design reviews and evaluate engineering solutions and changes.
Support RFI processes and provide objective assessments of execution and risk.
Monitor design products for quality, constructability, and compliance with codes and standards.
Oversee procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
