Overview

Join Colliers Engineering & Design as a Senior Engineer within our dynamic Municipal Group, based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. In this key role, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that works on exciting projects that shape and improve communities.

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll bring your expertise and leadership skills to work on a diverse range of municipal engineering projects, contributing to the development and enhancement of public infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with a talented group of professionals, providing innovative solutions, and fostering relationships with clients to ensure the success of each project.

Responsibilities

1. Review of subdivision plans and site plans submitted by developers for approval.
2. Administration of developer sponsored projects that are in construction to verify compliance with the approved plans.
3. Design of capital improvement projects.
4. Evaluation of public works issues in our municipalities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 3-5 years of capital improvement, residential and/or commercial site design.
3. EIT preferred.
4. Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Preferred.
5. Knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
6. Effective written and communication skills.
7. Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
8. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
