GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a Senior Engineer – Military Preliminary Cycle Design to assess, define, and improve next-generation military products. You will model engines, conduct trade studies, and influence strategy and investment decisions.
You will integrate processes across disciplines, lead parametric tool development, mentor teams, and prepare leadership presentations to shape cross-functional strategy and competitive assessments.
The Senior Engineer – Military Preliminary Cycle Design will work with Edison Works Project & Engineering to assess, define, and improve GE’s next generation of military products. They will model novel & derivative systems, execute design space trade studies, and assess concept strengths and weaknesses to influence GE strategic focus areas, customer requirements & proposal evaluation criteria, and to help prioritize GE technology investments.
In the role of Senior Engineer – Military Preliminary Cycle Design, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, support system level decisions for architecture designs, trade studies and contribute to the overall business strategy.
The base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - 173,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 12, 2026.
