GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Lead Engineer – Engineering Metrics & Operations to strengthen the engineering function's execution and visibility. You will build and manage metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators to guide decision-making and leadership reviews.
You will collaborate across engineering, program management, quality, supply chain, and finance to align priorities, track milestones, and drive improvements.
As a Lead Engineer – Engineering Metrics & Operations, you will drive initiatives that improve the effectiveness, execution, and operational rigor of the Engineering function. In this role, you will coordinate across engineering and partner functions to manage key metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross‑functional initiatives that support business and program objectives. You will help establish visibility to performance, improve operating mechanisms, and enable consistent execution across the organization. This role requires strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with some autonomy within established policies and business priorities. You will be expected to recommend and implement improvements to processes and practices while ensuring outcomes meet expectations for quality, timeliness, and operational impact.
The base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 10/31/2026.
