Job summary

Baker Hughes Company in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Engineer, Mechanical, Product Design and Engineering for the Lower Completions team. You will design and support ICDs, sand control tools, packers, and MST systems from concept through validation, using SolidWorks and 3D CAD, and collaborate with operations worldwide.

You will conduct design analyses, draft manufacturing drawings, create qualification test fixtures, and provide field and lab support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 10+ years in design or sustaining engineering.
• Experience with lower completion tools (ICDs, screens, valves) is preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D CAD with ability to work in a test lab.

Responsibilities

• Execute design work for ICDs, sand control tools, packers, and MST systems from concept to validation.
• Perform design analyses, develop drawings, tolerances studies, and test fixtures.
• Provide field and plant technical support and participate in project planning.
