Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service seeks an Engineering Flight Chief at Joint Base Andrews to independently lead an engineering flight directing a $1B+ portfolio. You will plan, organize, and execute multi-phase design and construction programs supporting presidential airlift and national-level leaders.

The role requires professional engineering registration or license, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain security clearance. It is a senior, autonomous leadership position with broad authority.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a wide range of multidisciplinary engineering theories, concepts, standards, and practices.
• Knowledge of planning and program management; DoD PPBS.
• Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct multidisciplinary engineers on complex infrastructure programs.
• Plan, organize, and execute multi-phase design and construction projects.
• Lead long-range planning and deliver high-impact engineering outcomes.
• Ensure readiness of Joint Base Andrews for critical missions.
