Job summary

EnerMech, a global specialist in complex energy projects, is seeking a senior engineer to lead non-routine engineering within an assigned discipline. You will own the technical integrity, guide engineers, review deliverables, and escalate risks through governance.

The role covers calculations, procedures, drawings and equipment specs, with responsibility for coordinating with clients, Project Managers and operations to deliver safe, compliant outcomes on onshore and offshore projects.

Qualifications

• Experience: minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience with complex technical delivery, checking and mentoring.
• Qualifications: engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or Ocean Engineering with demonstrated application.
• Travel: office, workshop and onshore/offshore project support as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop discipline calculations, technical procedures, drawings and P&IDs. Establish assumptions, design basis and acceptance criteria.
• Independently check others' work and document findings, ensuring proper separation of preparation, checking and approval.
• Lead engineering for assigned ES and IIS scopes including pipeline pre-commissioning, pigging, hydrotesting and related tasks.
• Coordinate technical discussions with clients, Project Managers and operations; resolve queries within delegated authority.
• Specify equipment and mobilization requirements; support pre-mobilization tests and readiness reviews.
• Provide technical leadership during site execution and assess changes within authority.
• Contribute to tenders with methods, equipment, estimates, resources and risks.
• Ensure compliance with EnerMech and client QHSE requirements and lead risk reviews.
• Coach graduates and engineers in calculations and codes; contribute to competency development.
• Maintain controlled technical records and reusable templates for global framework.
• Plan engineering activities, resources and interfaces to support milestones.
• Develop engineering estimates and budgets, identify variances and support profitability.
• Prepare and review technical requisitions and supplier submissions.
