Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in Allentown, PA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support reliable operation of industrial electrical equipment and power systems across North America facilities.

Lead maintenance strategies, perform power systems analyses, and mentor field technicians while upholding safety and environmental standards. PE license preferred; candidate must travel 15–20% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to field personnel for high voltage distribution equipment and high voltage motors/generators.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA).
• Review and approve engineering documents on plant upgrade projects.
• Support training and mentoring of electrical field technicians and operations staff.
• Perform electrical engineering power systems analysis calculations (short circuit, motor starting, voltage drop, load flow).
