We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and help improve our mobile development processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platforms.

About the Job

1. CI/CD Automation
   1. Design and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines for iOS and Android (GitHub Actions, etc).
   2. Streamline app signing, artifact management, and automated app distribution processes.
   3. Maintain and optimize the performance of the mobile build and test environments.
2. Testing & Quality Engineering
   1. Develop and enhance UI and integration testing frameworks.
   2. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, reducing test flakiness and improving reliability.
3. Dependency & SDK Management
   1. Evaluate, integrate, and regularly update external libraries and SDKs.
   2. Manage dependency versioning and maintain governance processes for third-party SDKs.
4. Monitoring & Logging
   1. Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or ELK stack.
5. Security & Compliance
   1. Ensure security best practices across the development lifecycle, including secret management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
6. Collaboration
   1. Work with development, QA, and security teams to refine the software delivery process.
7. Incident Response & Troubleshooting
   1. Resolve infrastructure and deployment issues to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
8. Performance Optimization
   1. Improve system performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.

You will report to the Director of Mobile Technology. This role can be remote.

About You

1. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
2. Background in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and experience working with both mobile (iOS & Android) and web technologies.
3. Cloud expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
4. Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as Bitrise, Fastlane, or App Store/Google Play deployment automation.
5. Expertise in web CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
6. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
7. Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
8. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
9. Experience managing and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack).
10. Understanding of security best practices, including IAM, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $128,300 - $183,500 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
