Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineer, Customer Quality Engineering to join our team. The CQE will interact across customers, Entegris, and suppliers with high visibility and priority, managing multiple shifting priorities.

This role can be based at Bedford, MA or Danbury, CT and requires a calm-assertive demeanor, strong project management, and extensive quality tool experience. Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in an engineering role in quality, process, equipment, or materials (semiconductor preferred).
• Experience coordinating issues/projects between internal stakeholders and customers with escalation.
• Project management focused on closing gaps between capabilities and customer needs.
• Proficient in quality tools such as Pareto, FMEA, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, design of experiments, cause-and-effect diagrams, 8D problem solving.

• Execute CQE responsibilities per policy and processes.
• Support Materials Solutions Division.

The Role:

Entegris is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join our team. The Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) role is dynamic and cross-functional. This new CQE will interact at multiple levels and with multiple contact points within the Customer, Entegris, and Supplier organizations. This roleishigh impact, highoutputand high visibility. It requires a calm-assertive demeanor and the capability to manage multiple ever-changing priorities.

Job Location:

This role can be based at our Bedford, MA or Danbury, CT sites.

WhatYou’llDo:

• Engage as guided with customers, salesteamsand factory/product/supply chain/quality teams

• Execute CQE responsibilities as defined by the CQE Policy documents, Entegris business processes, account specific support plan and as led by CQE management.

• Support our Materials Solutions Division

• Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer and Internal Audits, Project Development, Product Support and Development Programs, as well as many other cross-functional tasks and projects that are aligned with Entegris and Customer goals.

• Be part of a global team that is designed to improvesuccessof Entegris with our customers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and varying degrees of complexity across a vast range of products,regionsand companies. (customers and suppliers).

• Provide support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performancereportingand continuousimprovementproject management.

What We Seek:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field

• 5+years experiencein an engineering role in the areas of quality, process,equipmentor materials, ideally within the semiconductor industry, however other manufacturing industries will be considered.

• Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with experience in escalation.

• Project management experience with a focus on closing gaps between company capabilities and customer needs.

• Experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments,causeand effect diagrams, 8D problem solvingmethodology

• Flexibility to work non-standard hours and alternate work shifts to balance workload acrossa NorthAmerica and Asia scope of responsibility.

• Experience withworking and communicating between North America-based manufacturing facilities andAsia basedsupport teams and customers.

• Ability to travel 10% to 50% domestic and international

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
