Ideal candidates have six years in public works through construction, two years of lead responsibility, and CA PE licensure.

Qualifications

  • Six years of professional engineering experience in public works through construction.
  • Two years of lead responsibility in construction or geotechnical track.
  • Valid CA Professional Engineer license (Civil Engineer for CM; Geotechnical Engineer licensed).
  • Graduation from an accredited civil engineering program.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee engineering functions for the Anderson Dam Seismic Retrofit Project.
  • Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and design modifications.
  • Coordinate with agencies, consultants, and contractors.
  • Prepare regulatory reports and inspections updates.
  • Coordinate with regulators and the FERC Board of Consultants.
  • Manage property acquisitions and encroachment agreements.
  • Coordinate restoration with City of Morgan Hill and county agencies.
