Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking a Chief Engineer to provide technical authority for the JPES and JCRM sustainment and modernization efforts at Fort Meade, MD. You will define integrated application, cloud, infrastructure, and security architectures and lead resolution of the program’s most complex engineering challenges.

You will guide Agile and DevSecOps, establish engineering standards, and coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure mission success and secure operations.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of software-development experience with senior engineering or architecture responsibility.
• Ability to lead across applications, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, networks, and operations.
• Experience with enterprise application architecture, software integration, DevSecOps, and release management.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex decisions to leadership.
• Security clearance at least Secret at start and able to maintain Final Secret access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority across architecture, software development, Azure IL6, infrastructure, interfaces, security, and sustainment.
• Maintain architecture views, standards, interface definitions, baselines, and modernization roadmaps.
• Lead design reviews and assess changes for mission effectiveness, security, interoperability, and cost/schedule risk.
• Guide Agile and DevSecOps implementation including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment practices.
• Define technical approach for integrating external applications into JPES and JCRM without degrading posture.
• Lead Azure IL6 infrastructure support, IaC, identity, networking, storage, monitoring, and patching.
• Lead Tier 3 troubleshooting across apps, middleware, databases, OS, networks, and cloud services.
• Support testing, Government acceptance, releases, and mission activities at Fort Meade and CCMD HQs.
• Mentor engineers, coordinate work across teams, and communicate decisions and risks to Government stakeholders.
