Job summary

City and County of Denver is seeking a Senior Engineer-Architect Manager in the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI). This role oversees interagency project delivery staff, focusing on construction delivery and portfolio performance, while managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple projects.

The position supports and champions citywide initiatives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
Three (3) years of experience at the type and level of functional or operational management, which must have included supervising licensed engineers or architects.
Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
Requires registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect by the Colorado State Board at the time of application.

Responsibilities

Manage the Interagency team of project delivery staff and associated work groups.
Oversee project portfolio performance with focus on construction delivery and metrics.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk factors across multiple projects.
Lead a team of supervisors who oversee project managers, engineers, and architects.
Represent the work area in meetings with elected officials and other city entities.
Support and champion established procedures and citywide initiatives.
