Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced GUI Application Developer to build platform‑independent tools using Angular and TypeScript. You will collaborate across marketing, testing, and systems engineering to shape use cases and requirements, prototype in Angular, and contribute to architecture and testing.

You will mentor junior engineers and stay current with new technologies and IDEs while ensuring high quality software through robust SDLC practices and agile workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in application development.
Hands-on with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, and Node.js (including native addons).
Proficiency with Git, Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SVN.
Experience with AngularJS/Angular Material UI development.
Knowledge of GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions.
Strong understanding of design patterns, architecture, SOLID, and Jasmine/Jest.
Experience with WebSockets and full SDLC; agile experience.
Experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement platform-independent GUI applications using Angular and TypeScript.

Design and implement platform-independent GUI application software controlling and managing professional audio products and networking technologies
Collaborate with marketing, test, and systems engineering to define use cases and requirements
Prototype GUI application software using Angular
Participate in architecture, design, coding, integration, and testing of GUI application software
Provide technical expertise to internal software developers
Research and integrate new application software technologies and IDEs into development processes
Integrate and test wired and wireless networking communication protocols across protocol layers
Estimate, organize, and document tasks
Review peer engineers' designs and code to guarantee software quality
Mentor lower-level staff members on technical work planning and prioritization
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application development
Hands-on expertise with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, and Node.js including native addons
Proficiency with git, Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and SVN
Experience with AngularJS/Angular Material UI development
Knowledge of GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions
Strong understanding of design patterns, application architecture, SOLID principles, and Jasmine/Jest unit testing
Experience developing interfaces with WebSockets
Experience with full software development life cycle management
Proficiency executing projects with agile methodologies
Experience mentoring junior team members
Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and frameworks such as NRWL
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
