Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance web applications. You will create intuitive UI/UX, optimize performance and accessibility, and collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and founders on vision and execution.

You will develop reusable component libraries, implement RESTful API and GraphQL integrations, and define front-end best practices, testing, and code quality in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of front-end development experience with a strong track record of shipping user-facing products.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, including React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Vuex.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering using Next.js or Nuxt.js and static site generation.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and security best practices.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience in early-stage startup environments or small, fast-moving teams is a plus.
