Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Application Integration intern to support the team with installation/upgrades of applications, ticket review, and knowledge article creation in a professional IT environment.

The role is a paid full-time hybrid internship for the summer (May–August 2027) at the Cranberry facility, reporting to the Application Integration Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to learn enterprise application support processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related degree
• Completed Sophomore year of college

Responsibilities

• Participate in the installation/upgrades of applications, including patches and major releases of custom developed and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) software
• Help review and update tickets in the team queue, including documenting status, gathering basic information, and escalating issues
• Create and maintain knowledge articles, job aids, checklists, for supported applications
• Collaborate with Application Integration Team members and other IT teams to learn standard support processes, change management expectations, and documentation practices
• Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to develop understanding of enterprise application support
