The Ohio State University is seeking a Senior Engineer for the SIMCenter to lead machine learning, AI, and simulation R&D for digital engineering systems using reduced order models. The role requires leadership in technical solutions, proposal writing, and reporting, with supervision of student employees and involvement in professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
• Master's or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
• 4 years of experience in AI/ML methods, simulation, reduced order modelling, experimentation, and technical writing.

Responsabilités

• Lead ML/AI and simulation R&D for SIMCenter.
• Coordinate sponsored research and industry projects to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with OSU faculty and center staff on multidisciplinary research.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals for sponsors.
• Supervise student employees and support professional development.
