Job summary

Ohio State University seeks a Senior Engineer to lead AI/ML and simulation research at the SIMCenter. You will design digital engineering systems using reduced order models, coordinating sponsored projects and partnering with OSU faculty and industry collaborators to hit milestones and budgets.

You’ll document progress, prepare proposals, publish journals, and mentor student staff while driving funding and collaborations across multiple centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, CS, Engineering Physics or Applied Mathematics.
• Master’s or PhD degree preferred in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead ML/AI and simulation R&D for SIMCenter.
• Coordinate sponsored research projects with milestones, costs and schedules.
• Collaborate with OSU faculty and center staff on multidisciplinary research.
• Prepare technical reports, journal articles, and research proposals.
