Job summary

Kelly Engineering PR seeks a Sr Engineer in Juncos, PR to drive process optimization and engineering initiatives for a premier pharmaceutical/biotechnology leader. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, designing system modifications, validating protocols, and improving equipment reliability in a 24/7 operation with after-hours coverage.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 4+ years of experience (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial preferred), with strong English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering with 4+ years of engineering experience (preferred Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
• Experience with automated and manual inspection equipment and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of inspection technologies for parenteral products and glass containers.
• Ability to apply advanced and standard engineering principles for system improvements and project execution.
• Experience improving equipment reliability and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization, troubleshooting, and engineering initiatives.
• Design and implement system modifications, experiments, and projects.
• Analyze and present technical data and engineering solutions.

We’re seeking a Sr Engineer to work at a premier pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry leader in Juncos, PR.

Shift: 8hrs shift | Administrative - with work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering and 4 years of Engineering experience. (preferred Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering disciplines ).
• Experience with automated and manual inspection equipment and maintenance practices
• Knowledge of inspection technologies for parenteral products and glass containers
• Ability to apply advanced and standard engineering principles for system improvements and project execution
• Experience improving equipment reliability and operational performance
• Ability to lead and support technical teams (Mechanics, Automation, IS)
• Basic knowledge of validation, GMP documentation, and protocol execution
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, QA, validation, facilities, etc.)
• Strong technical communication skills (English & Spanish)
