Job summary

Kelly® Engineering seeks a Sr Reliability Engineer to join a premier biotechnology organization in Juncos, PR. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, managing the CMMS program, and supporting 24/7 operations with after-hours coverage.

Requirements include a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s with 4+ years, CMMS ownership, GMP/GLP knowledge, and strong English and Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree plus 2+ years experience OR Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing/reliability roles.
• CMMS ownership experience including work orders, PM strategy, parts definition/updates.

Responsibilities

• Own CMMS program, maintain equipment reliability, availability, and performance.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting and change-control assessments.
• Develop equipment performance metrics and drive maintenance optimization to reduce downtime.

Salary: $45.00 hr – W2
Shift: 8hrs shift | Administrative– with work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.
Initial Contract:6 months

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the followingrequirements:

• Master degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experiencein related position.
• Possess manufacturing equipment ownership experience, including CMMS system management (work orders approval/closing, PM strategy, spare parts definition/accuracy/updates)
• Demonstrate reliability and change control assessment capabilities and experiencein enhancing system reliability, focusing on equipment availability, downtime reduction, and maintenance optimization
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes, validation processes, and documentation in highly regulated environments
• Knowledge with pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing processes and have a solid understanding of GMP/GLP standards
• Strong technical documentation,written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish)

The Sr. Reliability Engineer will be responsible forensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment through ownership of the CMMS program, maintenance strategies, and equipment lifecycle activities. This role leads reliability and continuous improvement initiatives, supports troubleshooting and change control assessments, develops equipment performance metrics, and drives maintenance optimization to reduce downtime.
