Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• We have an opening for Spatial Computing Research engineering. Candidate will be responsible for
• Conduct R&D in the areas of spatial computing, multi-modal AI, computer vision, AR/VR, 3D animation, and other technical areas related to XR and communication.
• Advanced research targeted publication and presence in world leading conferences, such as CVPR and Siggraph.
• Industrial and academic collaboration, and professional community involvement. Expand community influence.
• Hands on research, and lead interns for joint research publication.
• Collaborate with other researchers and scientists internally and externally for joint technology advancement
• Design and implement demonstration systems; and create new features, from a technical specification or a reference implementation.
• Prototype, implement, and design evaluation and demonstration algorithms.
• Support other internal research activities.

Skills

• Proven experience in academic research and publication
• Strong knowledge in software development in related fields with hands‑on experiences
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience in machine learning algorithms, ARVR system, computer graphic, computer vision, or related areas
• Experience in 3D human ML models a plus, particularly the experience with SMPL, HaMer, and SAM.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn new technologies
