Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a Senior Engineer - Engine Validation to develop and execute the engine validation plan for a major engine program. You will lead DV and PV test development, coordinate builds to dyno cells, and report progress to the Chief Engineer.

You will drive issues to closure through root-cause analyses, maintain documentation, and ensure records are properly stored and reviewed. A solid background in mechanical engineering and validation methods is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5+ years in engine component design, development, or validation.
• At least 1 year in engine validation or system validation.
• Familiar with DFMEA and DVP&R processes.
• Experience with engine design, components, and testing.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Organized, action-oriented, customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engine DV&P&R documents and test plans.
• Coordinate engine build and delivery to dyno cells for DV testing.
• Lead test procedure development and PV/DV validation plans.
• Investigate validation issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Review and publish test results to the Chief Engineer team.
• Log incidents and track closure in the system.
• Provide weekly status reports on validation progress.
• Manage post-test teardown and disposition of test properties.
