Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking an Senior Engagement Manager - Commercial Strategy in San Francisco to lead client engagements, manage teams, and shape commercial strategies for biopharmaceutical brands.

You will supervise consulting staff, mentor junior members, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while pursuing follow‑on opportunities. The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration with client executives, development of analytical frameworks, and revenue forecasting across product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life science consulting experience.
• 2+ years of management/leadership experience in a consulting firm.
• Experience in creating and evaluating commercial strategy for pharmaceutical brands.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor junior team members to extend their skills and responsibilities; conduct performance reviews & support recruitment/retention.
• Develop business strategy through researching product portfolio, forecasting revenue, market sizing and regression.
• Work directly with clients and managing directors to set project objectives, develop analytical frameworks, manage team responsibilities, and maintain timeline.
• Elevate new business opportunities through follow‑on work, product enhancements or additional service offerings.
• Lead team members in complex analysis and problem solving including structuring, techniques, synthesis, and client implications.
• 5+ years of experience in life science consulting with increasing seniority; 2+ years in management/leadership.
