FMI Corporation is seeking a high-energy Senior Engagement Manager to join the Energy & Power practice. You will lead client engagements from inception to delivery, overseeing teams and ensuring value realization.

The role emphasizes scoping, cross-functional leadership, and driving extensions and new work with executive stakeholders. The position offers multiple locations (Raleigh, Denver, Houston, Tampa) or remote work, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• 8–12 years of consulting experience, including 5+ years in energy and power.
• Direct experience with major capital project program management (generation, transmission & distribution, gas transmission, or data centers).
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and ability to develop others and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from start to finish, owning delivery timelines, quality, and outcomes; establish project roles and priorities.
• Oversee Analysts, Consultants, and Engagement Managers, providing coaching and development.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders; align on approach to meet contract scope.
• Develop account plans with FMI leadership; secure extensions and new work.
• Lead scoping with FMI partners and clients before execution of workplan.
• Drive engagement-level delivery, including executive-level client presentations and high-quality deliverables.
