Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
• Experience supporting complex commercial facility energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of central energy plants and control systems.
• Ability to independently evaluate facility conditions and develop technically sound recommendations.
• Willingness to travel roughly two week-long overnight trips per month.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility site surveys and identify energy conservation measures and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate preliminary engineering activities and develop ECMs.
• Evaluate HVAC systems, central energy plants, controls, and related building systems.
• Develop project scopes and technical documentation based on site assessments and client requirements.
• Track project status, schedules, and resources to meet deadlines.
• Provide technical leadership and supervision to engineers/technicians.
