Zusammenfassung

UL Solutions seeks a Senior Storage Advisory Expert to lead complex due diligence across energy storage and hybrid portfolios. You’ll review technical and commercial documents, assess risk and bankability, and advise lenders, developers, and investors with a clear, concise deliverable.

You will mentor colleagues, contribute to proposals, and help grow the Renewables Advisory practice across EMEA, with hybrid or remote work options from multiple locations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years in energy storage or related advisory.
• Experience reviewing contracts and financial models for energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of project finance, risk assessment, and bankability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with European energy storage markets; fluent English; local language adds value.

Aufgaben

• Lead and deliver technical due diligence reviews for energy storage, solar+storage, and hybrid projects.
• Review contracts (EPC, BSA, interconnection, PPA, O&M, LTSA) to identify risks.
• Analyze CAPEX/OPEX, warranties, degradation, and other financial drivers.
• Evaluate energy use cases and dispatch strategies for market alignment.
• Prepare clear TDD reports and coordinate input from engineering, finance, and environment teams.
• Engage with clients, lenders, and developers; support BD and proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal tool improvements.
• Travel up to 15% for meetings and events.
