Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Energy Risk Engineering Consultant to perform risk assessments and provide safety consultation for energy casualty risks. This remote role covers U.S. customers with up to 50% travel and focuses on delivering value to underwriting teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background in energy casualty risk, team collaboration skills, and a track record of improving safety operations and reducing losses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years in Energy Casualty Risk Engineering or an equivalent combination.
• Team-oriented professional with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience applying risk assessments to underwriting requirements and client safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and provide safety consultation to customers.
• Develop service strategies to reduce losses and improve safety operations.
• Support underwriting with risk evaluations for existing and prospective accounts.
• Lead field risk assessments across the U.S., primarily in the Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana regions.
• Present service capabilities to customers and brokers; monitor delivery of engineering services.
