Job summary

ERM in the Gulf Coast region (Louisiana) is seeking a Managing Consultant, Project Manager to lead the delivery of transformative energy projects across oil and gas, LNG, power, renewable energy, and energy transition sectors. This client-facing role requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and risk management to guide projects from concept through delivery.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, manage multidisciplinary teams, and oversee scope, schedules, budgets, and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in consulting or energy sector with project leadership experience.
• Strong regulatory, permitting, and environmental impact assessment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, multidisciplinary capital projects from concept through delivery.
• Provide strategic permitting guidance and environmental impact assessment support.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to clients, guiding project execution and risk management.
• Develop proposals and support business development opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and collaborate across ERM networks.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align scope, schedule, budget and quality.
