Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Energy Project Manager (Passive House) to lead large multifamily and commercial high‑performance projects in the NYC area. You will collaborate with developers, contractors, architects, and engineers to improve decarbonization, building performance, and certification pursuit.

This hybrid role covers design and construction phases, requires energy modeling, submittal reviews, and on‑site inspections.

Qualifications

• Bridge knowledge of Passive House standards (PHIUS/PHI) and energy efficiency programs.
• Experience with building performance simulations and certification processes.
• Strong communication, project leadership, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage large multifamily high-performance/passive house projects.
• Advise on decarbonization and sustainability across building systems and design.
• Conduct energy modeling to estimate performance and guide decisions.
• Review submittals and coordinate with design/construction teams to meet goals.
• Mentor a small team of Project Engineers and Project Managers.
