Job summary

Brent Scarbrough & Co. (BSC) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site projects across the southeast. The role requires interaction with staff at all levels, strong communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills. HQ is in Newnan, GA, with projects throughout the southeastern U.S.

The PM will direct project quality, timeliness, safety, and customer relationships, mentoring the project team and ensuring accurate financials and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of experience.
• Experience with large self-perform grading and underground pipe projects preferred.
• Supervisory and leadership experience preferred.
• Preference for Renewable Energy, Data Centers, Commercial & Industrial, or Residential markets.
• Site development for private customers preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large site projects with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of construction law and standard business practices.
• Microsoft Office and project-management tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial health of projects.
• Support and potentially lead contract negotiations with customers, including technical exhibits and project schedules.
• Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phase for major subs and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections, determine cost codes, and approve invoices.
• Determine and allocate project estimates into the financial system.
• Provide financials and billings to accounting for timely payment; create monthly owner billings.
• Manage and develop Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s), provide feedback and coaching.
