Qualifications

• Eight years’ site-based HSE experience on EPC projects and five years in engineering consultancy.
• Proven Project HSE Management on EPC and EPCM projects across multiple phases.
• Experience in early-stage project HSE planning, tender support, resource planning, and HSE deliverables.
• Experience developing HSE requirements for contracts, procurement packages, and contractor management.
• Experience leading project HSE teams with KPIs, reporting, assurance activities, and management reviews.
• Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills across project teams and leadership.
• Knowledge of US HSE laws (OSHA 1926 & 1910) and certifications (CSP, NEBOSH, CRSP).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Willingness to travel; international project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the designated Project HSE Manager for major projects, including EPC and EPCM.
• Ensure HSE requirements, risks, resources, and costs are identified early and communicated.
• Embed HSE into contracts, procurement packages, contractor scopes, and project docs.
• Integrate HSE into planning, design reviews, risk workshops, governance, and risk registers.
• Facilitate hazard identification studies and risk assessments using the hierarchy of controls.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and escalate significant risks via governance routes.
• Manage and coordinate project HSE personnel and provide technical guidance.
• Develop and maintain HSE KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for oversight.
• Organize HSE training, inductions, and safety sessions for roles and projects.
• Lead audits, inspections, assurance activities, and management reviews.
• Act as primary HSE interface with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, client requirements, and Ramboll management systems.
• Support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement.
