Westinghouse Electric Company LLC's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Senior Project Estimator for a 1-year contract (W-2). Location: onsite at Juno Beach, FL, with remote candidates considered.

You will lead detailed cost estimates across conceptual, preliminary and definitive stages, develop pricing models, collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams, and present cost options to senior management and clients.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
• 5+ years in project estimating, especially conceptual engineering and design.
• Experience with utility-scale energy projects and cost management.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates at conceptual, preliminary and definitive stages.
• Develop pricing models to support estimating scope quantification.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction to gather specs and drawings.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities via value engineering while meeting project needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare contingency plans for uncertainties.
• Present cost estimates and options to senior management and clients.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Track costs and variances, updating estimates as scope or market conditions change.
