Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant in the Energy Markets & Systems team to lead large engagements and mentor junior staff in Arlington, VA. You will develop market models, supervise analyses, and support client relationships while contributing to business development and methodological innovation.

Ideal candidates will have deep experience with ISO/RTO markets, economics of renewables, and a strong track record of delivering actionable insights to utilities and sponsors.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, energy finance, or engineering plus 5+ years post-graduation experience, or Master’s plus 3+ years.
• Experience with economic dispatch models (Aurora/Origin/PLEXOS/BID3/PSO).
• Strong analytical, modeling, data analytics, and communication skills.

• Originating, closing, and leading large, complex client engagements.
