Partners Legal Search represents a national law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its energy litigation practice in Pittsburgh.

The role involves handling sophisticated disputes in the energy sector, building trial, deposition, and courtroom experience, with prior oil and gas experience preferred but not required.

This full-time position offers hybrid flexibility with remote work a few days per week and opportunities for meaningful case ownership.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience.
• Experience independently managing case files.
• Excellent advocacy, legal research, and writing skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Managing litigation matters and individual case files
• Developing litigation and case strategy
• Drafting and arguing substantive motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Managing written and document discovery
• Working with e-discovery platforms and large document productions
• Preparing witnesses for depositions and trial
• Preparing matters for hearings, mediation, and trial
• Participating in courtroom proceedings
• Conducting sophisticated legal research and analysis
• Negotiating resolutions and participating in settlement discussions
• Communicating directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy
