AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager - Energy to join our Environmental Planning and Permitting team in Northern California. This hybrid role can be based from our Sacramento, Oakland, San Francisco, or San Jose offices.

You will lead environmental documents and studies under CEQA and NEPA, manage client relationships and project teams on energy projects, contribute to business development, and mentor staff while guiding portfolios from proposal through permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning or related field.
• 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent in electric transmission and renewable energy via CEQA/NEPA, routing/siting analyses, and permitting.
• A valid U.S. Driver's license is required.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead environmental planning and compliance work for CEQA/NEPA.
• Manage early-stage due diligence for siting energy projects.
• Provide project management on mid- to large-sized projects with schedules, budgets, invoicing, and client coordination.
• Work on environmental documents and entitlements for energy projects.
• Contribute to marketing and business development, including proposals and cost estimates.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to staff on project tasks.
