Job summary

Fisher Associates in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior Energy + Environment Project Manager to lead complex energy, environmental, and infrastructure projects. You will provide project, technical, and business development leadership across Energy + Environment programs and mentor teams.

The role combines project management, permitting, regulatory coordination, client management, and proposal development, with opportunities to grow client relationships and expand Fisher’s capabilities across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Geology, Environmental/Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of site investigation, permitting, environmental compliance, and project management experience.
• Strong technical and business development background.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead new business development and manage mid- to large-scale energy and environmental projects.
• Oversee program-wide projects, including setup, planning, staffing, schedule, and budgets.
• Develop project strategies and design approaches aligned with client objectives.
• Manage project billing, client updates, QA/QC, closeout, and compliance with project plans.
• Prepare compliant proposals and serve as Proposal Manager and primary client contact.
• Navigate complex regulatory processes and environmental permitting.
• Represent clients in agency meetings and manage subcontractors.
