Job summary

Veregy seeks a Senior Energy Engineer in Costa Mesa to lead energy modeling, M&V planning, and IPMVP-compliant reporting. You'll drive ECM evaluations, support project development, and present technical findings to clients.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with ESCO projects, and ability to work with cross-functional teams to mitigate technical and financial risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or architectural engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of energy-engineering experience, preferably ESCO/performance contracting.
• DOE Industrial Assessment Center program is a plus.
• Experience with energy-modeling software (eQuest, TRACE 3D Plus, HAP) preferred.
• IPMVP/MAV knowledge and performance-contracting experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy-savings modeling and development of ECMs.
• Prepare IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and annual savings reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure savings are validated and reported.
