Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Sr. Energy Engineer to lead decarbonization initiatives for commercial real estate clients. The role combines data analysis, project management, and client communication to deliver energy, water, and GHG reduction programs.

The candidate will perform energy audits, develop cost estimates, support retro-commissioning, and help expand Cushman & Wakefield’s ESG leadership with proactive business development and client engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or science or related work experience.
5–8 years of applicable work experience in a related field.
Experience developing decarbonization strategies and energy efficiency measures.

Responsibilities

Lead development of energy saving strategies and identify energy efficiency measures.
Prepare preliminary cost estimates for recommended measures.
Perform ASHRAE Level I & II Energy Audits in existing buildings.
Support retro-commissioning of existing buildings.
Provide consultation on climate control systems, energy modeling, and sustainable design.
Review drawings and support incentive applications.
Produce written technical and non-technical reports for compliance and review.
Work with interdisciplinary teams to meet client needs and budgets.
