Qualifications

• 15+ years of multi-line experience including high severity bodily injury claims.
• Must possess a current Texas claims adjuster license; additional licenses a plus.
• Litigation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, negotiate and resolve third party GL and automobile bodily injury and property damage claims to conclusion.
• Conduct and manage the investigative process with ongoing communications with customers and external parties.
• Document files with key activities, contacts, statements and claim requirements for resolution.
• Collaborate with outside defense counsel during litigation as needed.
• Recognize and evaluate potential policy exposures to establish timely reserves.
• Manage claim authorization and negotiate claims with significant complexity.
• Possess strong negotiation and settlement skills; may be deposed or testify in negotiations or trials.
