Job summary

Ursa Major seeks a Senior SRM Quality Engineer – Energetics to own propellant manufacturing quality, including AP milling, mixing, casting, and cure, and to build out radiographic NDT capability. This hands-on role partners with design and energetics engineers to validate requirements and ensure product integrity from raw materials to cured motors.

You will lead SPC, PFMEA, and data-driven quality improvements, coordinate audits, and oversee documentation while collaborating with the SRM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing quality or process engineering, preferably aerospace/energetics.
• Hands-on experience with energetic materials or hazardous batch processes.

Responsibilities

• Own quality of propellant manufacturing: milling, mixing, casting, and cure.
• Lead radiographic NDT capability development and expansion.
• Validate process requirements and ensure data integrity across batches.
• Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEA, and SPC monitoring.
• Coordinate with design, safety, and supply chain to drive improvements.
