Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quincy, MA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own the manufacturing process of US Maritime primary energetic payloads for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. You will lead DFM, tool design, process creation, supplier capability, quality planning, and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time and obtain/maintain US Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI manufacturing development for Maritime munition products.
• Collaborate with energetics and product engineering to drive DFX into design.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end production processes for capacity, reliability, and safety.
• Oversee explosive and subsea service providers for outsourced assembly and testing.
• Own generation of BOP, MBOMs, MES Routings, and Work Instructions.
• Project manage milestones including test validation and delivery.
• Apply LEAN and statistics to improve processes and reduce defects.
• Drive energetic payload program initiatives through full lifecycle.
• Coordinate with EHS, Quality, Logistics, and Deployment teams to meet goals.
• Create control plans based on up-to-date DFMEA/PFMEAs.
