Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Manager for the Security Endpoint Protections team. You will lead a globally distributed engineering group, mentor researchers, and own the roadmap for on-device machine learning and protection engines across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

You will balance efficacy, performance, and stability, work with product managers, contribute to research, and represent the team at conferences.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on security research experience.
• Experience leading senior engineers on distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux internals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed engineering team.
• Own the roadmap and drive delivery across protection engines.
• Coordinate with product managers to define requirements and timelines.
• Direct the team's ML work and data quality efforts.
