Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to dive into our endpoint products, identify design and implementation flaws, and help engineers ship secure code. You will explore Linux applications, think like a hacker, and work with teams to implement robust security fixes.

You’ll build threat models, review code beyond tools, and create automation to streamline security work across product teams. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and hands-on security leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, preferably in security.
• Experience programming in or assessing security of C/C++ apps for Linux.
• Proficiency with system internals and security features for Linux.
• Understand containerization and virtualization security implications.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and collaboration with product engineers.
• Solid understanding of common software weaknesses affecting endpoint and client/server apps.
• Ability to collaborate across technical teams and communicate risks.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Join project teams as security expert influencing endpoint protection design and capabilities.
• Create and update threat models to drive security decisions.
• Review source code for security flaws beyond automated tooling.
• Attack endpoint applications with kernel components prior to production.
• Collaborate with developers to explain problems, risks and fixes.
• Build tools and automation to improve developers' life and productivity.
• Validate and investigate bug bounty reports, hunting for similar issues.
