Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Endpoint Security Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain endpoint security across a hybrid cloud/on‑prem mission environment.

You will integrate Linux and Windows mission servers with the Trellix management console, tune scan policies, and work with mission teams to resolve issues.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, with hands‑on experience in Trellix tools, incident response, forensics, and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience (additional years may substitute).
• Experience with Trellix tools and incident response/forensics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade central management consoles across isolated networks (Tre_lix ePolicy Orchestrator).
• Integrate Linux/Windows mission servers with the management console.
• Deploy Trellix Endpoint Threat Protection updates and optimize scan exclusion policies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues with mission teams and improve performance in hybrid environments.
• Automate endpoint security processes and enable integrated reporting (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics).
• Investigate malware findings on mission servers.
