Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a security leader to own end-to-end rollout of a new browser security platform across laptops and endpoints. You will define and enforce policies, collaborate across identity, legal, and communications, and ensure secure configurations while balancing usability for employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with enterprise browser security platforms or zero-trust.
• 4+ years in information security, specifically endpoint security or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience hardening and managing macOS and Windows endpoints at enterprise scale, using MDMs such as Jamf or InTune.
• Knowledge of TPM 2.0, Secure Enclave, Secure Boot, and full-disk encryption.
• Experience defining and enforcing policies for removable media and data transfer paths.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of a new browser security platform from pilot to full fleet deployment.
• Automate and refine review, risk-scoring, and triage of browser extension requests.
• Review AI-generated policy logic and scripts before deployment.
• Partner with identity, legal, and communications to advance security roadmap milestones.
• Triage endpoint security exceptions and update underlying policy to prevent recurrences.
• Coordinate with IT for laptop lifecycle, encryption, and device provisioning.
• Report fleet risk posture and program progress to security leadership.
• Develop and refine AI-assisted workflows for policy automation.
